Meet Elizabeth Landry, LCSW-C
Elizabeth Landry, LCSW-C
Elizabeth Landry, LCSW-C has been a practicing therapist since 1993. She works with middle school aged children, adolescents, families and adults. Elizabeth has extensive experience in the treatment of adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders. She has worked extensively with adolescent girls struggling with disruptive life circumstances (divorce/trauma), self-injurious behavior, school difficulties and eating disorders. In addition to her work with adolescents she is a trained Family Therapy specialist and has additional expertise in grief counseling.
Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park (1991) and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore (1993). She received her advanced clinical license (LCSW-C) in 1995 and completed post-graduate studies in family therapy from the Family Therapy Practice Center, Washington, DC, (1998) where she also served as a faculty member from 1998 to 2001. Elizabeth has taught as a Field Supervisor for the University of Maryland School of Social Work and has provided various training and in-service seminars for the Frederick County Public School system and Hood College. She also has extensive experience in the coordination of care with various legal, educational and medical service systems in the Frederick County area.
