WELCOME TO BLUE RIDGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
ATTENTION: COVID-19 Update
July 27, 2021
Blue Ridge Behavioral Health would like to extend its gratitude to the Patients and Families who have been able to participate in Telehealth services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth has been a very effective option for treatment services and has allowed Blue Ridge to remain committed to supporting our Patients, Families, and Community throughout the pandemic. Some have asked about resuming in-person services. Making this decision has not been easy; variants of the coronavirus continue to remind us that we are still in a pandemic, and those who remain unvaccinated are reported to be especially vulnerable to becoming ill and transmitting the virus to others.
Keeping ourselves and our Staff, Patients, and Families safe remains a priority as we aim to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our community. With that in mind, some Clinicians are now able to offer some in-person appointments while others cannot. Additionally, Patients being seen in the Office must be at least two weeks out from completing their vaccine series. Telehealth sessions will remain an option for all Patients until further notice. Patients are reminded to please address any treatment concerns with their Clinician(s) and not with Staff, who are unable to have these discussions.
For new or returning Patients, we will assess whether Telehealth services are appropriate for your treatment needs. Please submit an Intake request on-line or call our Intake Coordinator at 301-695-8390 ext 1.
This notice will be updated as circumstances change. As always, we appreciate the trust you place in us for your mental health care needs.
