WELCOME TO BLUE RIDGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
ATTENTION: COVID-19 Update
April 1, 2022
Blue Ridge Behavioral Health would like to extend its gratitude to the patients and families who have been able to participate in telehealth services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth has been a very effective option for treatment services and has allowed Blue Ridge to remain committed to supporting our patients, families, and community throughout the pandemic.
Keeping ourselves and our staff, patients, and families safe remains a priority as we aim to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our community. With that in mind, clinicians are now able to offer in-person appointments. If you would like to return to the office for in-person appointments with your psychiatrist, please read and complete the In-Person Consent form (click here for form). For in person appointments with a therapist, please discuss returning to the office with them directly. Patients and any accompanying individuals are required to wear a mask. We prefer that all individuals wear a KN95 or higher quality mask in our office. This is a requirement for unvaccinated individuals.
Telehealth sessions remain an option. It is the patient’s responsibility to know if telehealth services are still covered by one’s insurance plan or have become an out-of-pocket expense. Your clinician will continue to assess whether telehealth or in-person appointments are appropriate for your treatment needs. Please address any treatment concerns with your clinician(s).
This notice will be updated as circumstances change. As always, we appreciate the trust you place in us for your mental health care needs.
